I joined the Georgetown Lions Club in January 2014. I served as President in 2017-2018. I served as club Tail Twister from 2015 - 2016 and again from 2021 - 2022. I was a Zone chair in 2020-2023. I attendedMD1 Regional Lions Leadership Institute August 2020. I attended District 1M Conventions 2014, 2019, 2020, 2021and 2022. I am a Guiding Lion. I am a member of Cornerstone Christian Church. I serve as a member of the Praise Band for my Church. I Served in the U.S. Air Force for 9 years 3 months and in the Air National Guard for 12 years for a total of 21 years 3months
Other Achievements: 1983-1992 U. S. Air force Fuel Specialist. Served at Grand Forks A. F. B. ND. Osan A. B. South Korea. Grissom A. F. B. IN. Honorable Discharge 1995-2007 Indiana Air National Guard Terre Haute IN. Training: U. S. Air Force Fuels Lab. School. U. S. Air Force NCO Academy Deployments: Alpena Michigan, 2 weeks to Istris France, Snow Bird Tucson AR. Feb. 2007 Retired with 21 years total service. .I am a member of Post 203 American Legion and serve as Post Chaplin and serve on the honor Guard. I also served on our post K9 worrier program I have been Married to Lion Lisa Wyer for 42 years.
We have a daughter and a son. We have 2 grand kids. I have work full time in a Construction trade for 28 years and hope to retire in the next 1 1/2 Years Iwelcome the opportunity to serve the Lions of District 1-M. And I look forward to assisting the Lions Clubs of District 1-M and Lions Club International, the Lions of Illinois, and the communities we serve. Thank you for the opportunity to serve.
